Kirsties Homemade home

Tea cosy....made while feeling very poorly, so hasn't tured out as well as I'd hoped. (Well that's my excuse anyway)

STITCH

I have just received the new "Stitch" book by Cath Kidston, I've already started to make the purse kit....although there isn't alot of thread, it doesn't leave much room for error....in fact none at all. But it's turning out ok, I will have to use a different colour for one of the flowers as the layout doesn't give you enough to copy it exactly.
Here's the completed purse ( I've stitched the front on upside down..hey ho.) not bad for my first cross stitch. Love all the other deisgns in the book not sure which to start first.

Jeans To Skirt

I've just finished making my old jeans into skirt. Not bad for a first attempt. I have  plenty of old jeans to practice on.  The scraps from the floral A-line skirt I made awhile suited the jean/skirt very well.

This is Faisy Daisy. ( Tea anyone?)
Sweet baby booties for a friend.

I'm new to all this.

well..this is all new to me. Not sure how to start or what to write. So I'm just going to add some pictures of the crafty stuff I've started to do this year.

Here are a pair of knitted slippers for my niece..and then along came the matching hot waterbottle cover & Pj's.
